Hi! I’m Ms. Devra, and I’ve always dreamed of creating a place where children can grow, play, and learn with joy. Our classroom is currently being prepared for the upcoming school year, and we are so excited to welcome our first students this August.
At Smartiekats Preschool, children ages 3.5–5 enjoy a warm, home-like environment, small class sizes, and a research-based curriculum that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond. Families also receive online on-demand access, so learning continues anytime at home, on-the-go, or if a day is missed.

Designed for families requring a seamless transition from monring to evening. This enrollment brdges the Daytime Track and Preschool PM, ensuring a consistent educational experience for the child's entire stay.

OUR FUTURE Extend Preschool PM Opportunity at SmartieKats Preschool!
Families enrolled in our Daytime Full Time Track may elect to add the Preschool PM Module to extend your child's structured learning. This module is not a childcare "add-on" but a continuation of our private school curriculum, ensuring students receive consistent instruction through the evening.

You can include Preschool PM for in person only by adding it to your FT Tuition class.
We now offer an optional class from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM!

When should I call to register my child?
It’s never too early! Our classes fill up quickly, so we encourage families to reach out as soon as they begin considering enrollment.
What ages do you accept?
Preschool classes are for children ages 3.5–5 by September 1.
Pre-K students must turn 4 on or before September 1.
Summer camp is available for children ages 3.5–6 by June 1.
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
We offer a 10-month school year (August–May) and a summer program in June.
Mid-year enrollment is possible if space is available — please call to check openings.
How about Holiday closing and school closings?
We follow the Henry County School District calendar, including weather closures.
Closures include:
Labor Day, Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas/Winter Break, Teacher Workdays, Spring Break, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4–31.
(Some dates may be modified on the calendar.)
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3.5-5 (and "independent almost-4-year-olds") by Sep. 1. Summer camp is for children who are ages 3.5-6 by June 1.
Do you do assessments and conferences?
Yes! We conduct two parent-teacher conferences each year:

Each conference is a 15-minute meeting focused on your child’s progress.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. Children must be potty trained and able to manage basic self-help tasks (toileting, dressing, undressing).
If you’re unsure your child is ready, we’re happy to help — we even provide a potty-training guide.
What is our philosophy
We believe children learn best in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where learning is fun and meaningful.
Every child is unique — we tailor learning to support academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
Are there additional fees during the year?
No. The registration fee covers supplies, field trips, activities, and special events.
Field trips (including lunch and t-shirts) are paid for by the school.
What if my child has food restrictions?
No problem. Families may bring a bagged lunch and snacks.
We create nut-free classrooms when needed for severe allergies.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Tuition is divided into equal monthly payments and does not change due to holidays or breaks.
What curriculum do you use?
We use Kaplan Curriculum and Pinnacle, aligned with Georgia Early Learning & Development Standards (GELDS).
Activities support literacy, math, science, social studies, and creative arts — all through hands-on learning.
How many students do you have per class?
We keep small class sizes (6–12 students) to ensure plenty of individual attention.

Preschool PM: Is Preschool PM just an Aftercare program?
No, As a private preschool, we do not offer "babysitting." Preschool PM is a structured academic program session. Students participate in evening circle time, curriculum-based activities, and guided instruction, just as they would in our morning tracks.
Preschool PM: Can I register my child for only the 4:30-7pm
Yes, we offer Preschool PM as standalone session. This is an ideal option for families who do not require morning care but want their child to benefit from a high standard, private school environment in the evening.
Preschool PM: What if my child is already enrolled in the Full Time Daytime Track can I add the Preschool PM?
At this moment we are only doing half day. But in the future when we open our Full Time Classes Families currently enrolled in our Full-Time track 830-230 /9:00-330 may choose to add the Preschool PM session to their enrollment. This provides a seamless translon and instructional continuity for children who need to stay through 7 pm.
Full time families: Contact us to add the Preschool PM session for extended instructional hours.
How about visitation?
You are welcome to visit Smartiekats Preschool at any time. Our program has an open door policy, and we encourage you to be a part of your child’s preschool experience!
